Float Away Massage and Holistic Therapy is a small, woman-owned business in Gisborne, New Zealand. The business was founded in 2007 by Paula Jean Hatten, a lady with strong hands and a big heart. The focus of her business is to help people to heal their bodies, minds, spirits, and souls, with a special emphasis on oncology massage for cancer patients.
Paula filled out our Website Form and we contacted her to schedule an appointment to understand her business better and create a website that truly represented her and her business. We worked together to come up with simple and intuitive navigation, soothing colours, and the perfect font. Some of the content came from Paula and some from us as we got to know more about her business and how she communicates with her clients, and all of the imagery was licensed royalty-free.
The result is a stunning website on a simple platform that Paula, with no web maintenance experience, can easily update as often as she likes. The cost to product this website was under $1,000, including imagery, and the annual cost to host the site is under $200 per year. A price any business can afford!
Paula is very grounded and tuned into the energy that surrounds us, but she'll tell you that she is not terribly tuned into technology. So a whole website always seemed like too daunting of a task. But time has marched on, and she knows that if she wants to grow her business and attract new clients, she really needs a website.

New Zealand Author Publishes Her First Book
Did you know we did e-book cover design? No? Well, don't feel bad. Neither did we!
When New Zealand Author, Dorothy M. Fletcher came to us for a new website to help launch her publishing career, she was having trouble getting a cover for her first novel through traditional vendors. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! We are super proud to be the cover designer for her very first novel (and the second one, too).
